Here’s another recipe you can add to your clambake menu 🙂
1 can of baby clams
1 can of artichokes dipped in water and then drained
1 cup of mayonnaise
¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
½ cup of grated parmesan cheese
Pre heat the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit
Place all the ingredients in the food processor which is fitted with a steel blade. Process it until it is almost smooth. Place it in an oven friendly dish and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes until it turns brown and a little bubbly. Serve hot with pita crisps or cucumber rounds.
You can also start off your evening by serving your guests with chilled wine. A Riesling or chardonnay adds a crisp and nice touch to the beginning of these festivities. Once all the guests have their glass in their hand you can have someone walk around to serve artichoke dip and clams.
After the artichoke dip and clam is over you can serve the main course. You can also add along some sweet corn, mussels and lobster to your visitors for a relishing dinner. You can use a variety of ways to prepare the steamed mussels, clams, and even lobsters. Note that mussels and clams which do not open after steaming are actually not safe to serve to your precious guests.
